# 星星學子 vs 辰时八字排盘

The clearest difference is monetization model: 星星學子 at free with in-app purchases against 辰时八字排盘's subscription. 星星學子 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17). 辰时八字排盘's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 星星學子 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and 辰时八字排盘 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

星星學子 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 辰时八字排盘 has 1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. 星星學子 ships an update every 2 months, 辰时八字排盘 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
