# Employee ID Card Maker vs DIGEN

The clearest difference is rating: DIGEN at 3.0 against Employee ID Card Maker's 1.0. DIGEN also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Employee ID Card Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DIGEN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DIGEN holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DIGEN has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Employee ID Card Maker ships an update monthly, DIGEN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
