# WidgetsLab vs Hot Widgets

The clearest difference is ads: Hot Widgets at none against WidgetsLab's shown. WidgetsLab's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.1). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WidgetsLab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Hot Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
