# MapKeep vs Babelyx

The clearest difference is update cadence: MapKeep at every 2 weeks against Babelyx's monthly. Babelyx's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapKeep sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Babelyx sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MapKeep ships an update every 2 weeks, Babelyx monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
