# LectureNotes AI vs Notegpt

The clearest difference is rating: Notegpt at 4.6 against LectureNotes AI's 4.1. Notegpt also leads on ratings volume (788 vs 37). LectureNotes AI's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 26%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LectureNotes AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Notegpt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notegpt holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notegpt has 788 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of LectureNotes AI's written reviews are positive against 26% of Notegpt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LectureNotes AI ships an update monthly, Notegpt every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
