# KeyHour vs MeClock

The clearest difference is rating: KeyHour at 4.5 against MeClock's 4.0. KeyHour also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (54 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeyHour sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and MeClock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.29 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KeyHour holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeyHour has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of KeyHour's written reviews are positive against 100% of MeClock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KeyHour ships an update every 9 days, MeClock every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
