# VPNStars vs VPNmanager

The clearest difference is rating: VPNmanager at 5.0 against VPNStars's 3.0. VPNmanager also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). VPNStars's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPNmanager sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. VPNStars asks for nothing beyond the download.

VPNmanager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPNmanager has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

VPNStars ships an update every 10 days, VPNmanager every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
