# FaceFox vs Bear Eraser

FaceFox and Bear Eraser both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bear Eraser's written reviews are positive against 58% of FaceFox's. Bear Eraser also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). FaceFox's advantage is ratings volume (55 vs 9). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaceFox sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Bear Eraser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for FaceFox against 4.7 for Bear Eraser. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceFox has 55 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of FaceFox's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bear Eraser's.

FaceFox ships an update fortnightly, Bear Eraser every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
