# Score vs Tallyman

The clearest difference is ads: Tallyman at none against Score's shown. Tallyman also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Score's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Score against 5.0 for Tallyman. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Score has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Score ships an update every 3 weeks, Tallyman every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
