# Dico vs Tango

The clearest difference is rating: Tango at 5.0 against Dico's 2.4. Tango also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Dico's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dico sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Tango asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tango holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dico has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dico ships an update every 5 weeks, Tango every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
