# Dico vs PrayUp

The clearest difference is rating: PrayUp at 5.0 against Dico's 2.4. Dico's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dico sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and PrayUp sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrayUp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dico has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dico ships an update every 5 weeks, PrayUp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
