# ActionMate vs Live Shortcut

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Live Shortcut at 70% against ActionMate's 13%. Live Shortcut also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). ActionMate's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ActionMate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Live Shortcut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ActionMate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Shortcut has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of ActionMate's written reviews are positive against 70% of Live Shortcut's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ActionMate ships an update every 2 days, Live Shortcut every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
