ARway Events vs Walkk

Activate AR experiences and sponsorship opportunities at your event

Meet Walkk, a walking app with real offline maps. Download the neighborhoods you love, then explore them with no connection. Your walks, routes, and places stay on your iPhone. OFFLINE MAPS • Frame any area and download it. Walkk shows the estimated size before you start. • Downloaded maps keep working in airplane mode, with street names, parks, water, buildings, and points of interest. • Pause, resume, or delete a download, and see how much storage each map uses. • Two map styles, Daylight and Moonlight. WALKING DIRECTIONS • Download walking paths with a map, and Walkk plans the route on your iPhone. • Turn-by-turn guidance, distance and time, rerouting if you leave the path, and arrival when you get there. • Routes use streets and footpaths. They do not send you onto motorways. WALKS • Start a walk and see distance, time, current pace, average pace, and steps. • Recording continues with the screen locked. Pause whenever you stop. • GPS points that jump or are too inaccurate are left out, so the distance stays honest. • Finish with a summary. Rename the walk, add notes, share a card, or export GPX. PLACES • Save a spot from the map, or save where you are standing. • Organize places into Favorites, Nature, Cafés, Landmarks, Photography, Hidden Gems, or a collection of your own. • Saved places stay available offline. JOURNEY • Total distance, time, longest walk, and weekly and monthly charts. • A calendar of your walks, plus streaks. • Achievements earned from walks you have saved. GPX • Import a GPX file to see the route on the map. Imported routes are not added to your statistics. • Export any recorded walk as GPX. PRIVATE • No account. No ads. No subscription. • Walks, routes, and places are stored only on your iPhone. • Walkk uses the internet to download map data and walking paths, and to search for places. ENGLISH AND ARABIC The app is fully translated, with a right-to-left layout in Arabic. One purchase. Everything is included. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Map tiles served by OpenFreeMap.
