# WriteGenius vs IamWriter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: IamWriter at 13 against WriteGenius's 1. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WriteGenius sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and IamWriter sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.69 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
