# Alive Cycle vs Tan Republic

The clearest difference is rating: Alive Cycle at 5.0 against Tan Republic's 3.0. Alive Cycle also leads on ratings volume (43 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Tan Republic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
