# Vacation vs Scubaful

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scubaful at every 2 days against Vacation's every 2 months. Scubaful also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vacation sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scubaful sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vacation ships an update every 2 months, Scubaful every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
