# Hidden Objects vs Mayan Cryptex Saga

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mayan Cryptex Saga at every 6 days against Hidden Objects's every 5 weeks. Hidden Objects's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hidden Objects sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mayan Cryptex Saga sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hidden Objects ships an update every 5 weeks, Mayan Cryptex Saga every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
