# Mineral Bin vs Pangolin Client

The clearest difference is rating: Mineral Bin at 5.0 against Pangolin Client's 4.2. Pangolin Client's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mineral Bin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pangolin Client has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mineral Bin ships an update monthly, Pangolin Client fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
