# TacticMap vs TacSync

The clearest difference is rating: TacSync at 5.0 against TacticMap's 4.0. TacSync also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 days). TacticMap's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TacticMap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. TacSync asks for nothing beyond the download.

TacSync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TacticMap has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TacticMap ships an update every 6 days, TacSync every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
