# Talkpal vs Proseable

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Talkpal at 3.8K against Proseable's 21. Talkpal also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and chart position (#169 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talkpal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Proseable sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talkpal holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talkpal has 3.8K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Talkpal's written reviews are positive against 50% of Proseable's.

Talkpal ships an update every 9 days, Proseable every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
