# Talkpal vs Talkback City

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Talkback City at 83% against Talkpal's 58%. Talkback City also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Talkpal's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 7) and chart position (#156 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talkpal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Talkback City sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
