# Time Aware vs Tempus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tempus at every 6 days against Time Aware's monthly. Tempus also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Time Aware's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Aware sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Tempus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Aware ships an update monthly, Tempus every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
