# AppLocker vs Pixveil

The clearest difference is update cadence: AppLocker at every 3 days against Pixveil's every 2 months. AppLocker also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AppLocker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixveil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AppLocker ships an update every 3 days, Pixveil every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
