# JoyProject vs Goshen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: JoyProject at none against Goshen's 10. JoyProject also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Goshen's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (48 vs 9). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goshen sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $97.99 per month. JoyProject asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for JoyProject against 4.9 for Goshen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goshen has 48 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

JoyProject ships an update every 3 weeks, Goshen weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
