# Talknotes vs Talk Notes AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Talk Notes AI at 100% against Talknotes's 56%. Talk Notes AI also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Talknotes's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (52 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talknotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Talk Notes AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talknotes holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talknotes has 52 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Talknotes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Talk Notes AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talknotes ships an update every 2 weeks, Talk Notes AI every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
