# Simple to vs Log

The clearest difference is ads: Log at none against Simple to's shown. Log also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple to sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple to ships an update every 6 weeks, Log every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
