# Strflow vs Musing Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Musing Notes at every 3 days against Strflow's fortnightly. Strflow's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 7) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strflow sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Musing Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Strflow against 4.9 for Musing Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strflow has 49 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of Strflow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Musing Notes's.

Strflow ships an update fortnightly, Musing Notes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 13, 2026 respectively.
