# Strflow vs Island Mail

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Strflow at 50 against Island Mail's 1. Strflow also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.5). Island Mail's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strflow sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Island Mail sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Strflow against 5.0 for Island Mail. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strflow has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of Strflow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Island Mail's.

Strflow ships an update fortnightly, Island Mail weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
