# Pulp Showtimes vs Flashbang Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashbang Pro at daily against Pulp Showtimes's fortnightly. Pulp Showtimes's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulp Showtimes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Flashbang Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pulp Showtimes against 5.0 for Flashbang Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pulp Showtimes has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Pulp Showtimes ships an update fortnightly, Flashbang Pro daily. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
