# Ear Spy Apps vs Recordi

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ear Spy Apps at 1.3K against Recordi's 4. Ear Spy Apps also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.2). Recordi's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ear Spy Apps sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Recordi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Recordi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ear Spy Apps has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Ear Spy Apps's written reviews are positive against 100% of Recordi's.

Ear Spy Apps ships an update every 5 weeks, Recordi every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
