# Shape Transform vs Cubetastic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cubetastic at every 2 days against Shape Transform's every 3 weeks. Shape Transform's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shape Transform sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Cubetastic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shape Transform ships an update every 3 weeks, Cubetastic every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
