# AQUA Wallet vs BitBoxApp

The clearest difference is rating: BitBoxApp at 4.5 against AQUA Wallet's 4.1. AQUA Wallet's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 43%) and ratings volume (78 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BitBoxApp holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AQUA Wallet has 78 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of AQUA Wallet's written reviews are positive against 43% of BitBoxApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AQUA Wallet ships an update every 6 weeks, BitBoxApp monthly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
