# Countdown vs Bzzzt!

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bzzzt! at every 8 days against Countdown's every 6 months. Countdown's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Countdown ships an update every 6 months, Bzzzt! every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
