# EasyImport vs Video Compressor

The clearest difference is price: Video Compressor at Free against EasyImport's $0.99. Video Compressor also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (117 vs 1). EasyImport's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Video Compressor is free to download; EasyImport costs $0.99 up front. Video Compressor sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. EasyImport asks for nothing beyond the download.

Video Compressor holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Compressor has 117 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EasyImport's written reviews are positive against 83% of Video Compressor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EasyImport ships an update every 4 days, Video Compressor fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
