# Akcru vs TMTDN

The clearest difference is monetization model: Akcru at free with in-app purchases against TMTDN's subscription. Akcru also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). TMTDN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Akcru sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and TMTDN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Akcru against 5.0 for TMTDN. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively.

Akcru ships an update every 2 weeks, TMTDN every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
