# Akcru vs Microhouse Films

The clearest difference is ads: Microhouse Films at none against Akcru's shown. Microhouse Films also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (38 vs 3). Akcru's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Akcru sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Microhouse Films sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Akcru holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microhouse Films has 38 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Akcru ships an update every 2 weeks, Microhouse Films every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
