# FastRaid vs Pokémon Events

The clearest difference is ads: Pokémon Events at none against FastRaid's shown. Pokémon Events also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and review sentiment (53% vs 43%). FastRaid's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.8 for FastRaid against 3.7 for Pokémon Events. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pokémon Events has 223 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of FastRaid's written reviews are positive against 53% of Pokémon Events's.

FastRaid ships an update every 4 days, Pokémon Events every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
