# Goal Tracking vs Snipnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Snipnote at every 3 weeks against Goal Tracking's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goal Tracking sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Snipnote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Goal Tracking ships an update every 6 weeks, Snipnote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
