# SpeakApp AI vs PDF Scanner Pro *

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SpeakApp AI at 9.6K against PDF Scanner Pro *'s 107. SpeakApp AI also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). PDF Scanner Pro *'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpeakApp AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and PDF Scanner Pro * sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeakApp AI holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpeakApp AI has 9.6K ratings behind it against 107, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of SpeakApp AI's written reviews are positive against 100% of PDF Scanner Pro *'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpeakApp AI ships an update weekly, PDF Scanner Pro * every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
