# Solexx vs IQ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IQ at 100% against Solexx's 21%. IQ also leads on rating (3.6 vs 3.1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Solexx's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IQ holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solexx has 28 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of Solexx's written reviews are positive against 100% of IQ's.

Solexx ships an update every 3 weeks, IQ every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
