# Exploding 7's vs Seven

The clearest difference is ads: Exploding 7's at none against Seven's shown. Exploding 7's also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). Seven's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exploding 7's sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Seven sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exploding 7's ships an update every 4 days, Seven every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
