# Exploding 7's vs Ward

The clearest difference is update cadence: Exploding 7's at every 4 days against Ward's monthly. Ward's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exploding 7's sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ward sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exploding 7's ships an update every 4 days, Ward monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
