# AI Homework vs Speak AI

The clearest difference is rating: Speak AI at 4.9 against AI Homework's 4.3. Speak AI also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (409 vs 4). AI Homework's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Homework sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Speak AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speak AI holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speak AI has 409 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 99% positive.

AI Homework ships an update weekly, Speak AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
