# OnTopic Chat vs Blend

The clearest difference is update cadence: Blend at every 2 weeks against OnTopic Chat's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnTopic Chat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Blend sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OnTopic Chat ships an update every 3 months, Blend every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
