# Ahmni vs Fullnotes

Ahmni and Fullnotes both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Ahmni's written reviews are positive against 43% of Fullnotes's. Ahmni also leads on ratings volume (247 vs 28). Fullnotes's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ahmni sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fullnotes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Ahmni against 4.6 for Fullnotes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ahmni has 247 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Ahmni's written reviews are positive against 43% of Fullnotes's.

Ahmni ships an update every 2 weeks, Fullnotes weekly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
