# UltraNotes vs Cloudo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cloudo at none against UltraNotes's 1. UltraNotes's advantage is ratings volume (187 vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UltraNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cloudo asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for UltraNotes against 4.5 for Cloudo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UltraNotes has 187 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UltraNotes ships an update every 3 weeks, Cloudo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
