# UltraNotes vs Stillr

The clearest difference is update cadence: UltraNotes at every 3 weeks against Stillr's every 6 weeks. Stillr's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UltraNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stillr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UltraNotes ships an update every 3 weeks, Stillr every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
