# heytea vs Menu Maker

The clearest difference is rating: heytea at 4.9 against Menu Maker's 3.4. heytea also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (9.4K vs 5). Menu Maker's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Menu Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. heytea asks for nothing beyond the download.

heytea holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: heytea has 9.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of heytea's written reviews are positive against 80% of Menu Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

heytea ships an update fortnightly, Menu Maker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
