# Speedometer vs MDX

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MDX at none against Speedometer's 3. MDX also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Speedometer's advantage is device support. On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. MDX asks for nothing beyond the download.
