# Bible Widget vs Abbey Bible Scroll/Prayer Lock

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bible Widget at 28K against Abbey Bible Scroll/Prayer Lock's 25. Bible Widget also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Abbey Bible Scroll/Prayer Lock's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Widget sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Abbey Bible Scroll/Prayer Lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bible Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Widget has 28K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Bible Widget's written reviews are positive against 100% of Abbey Bible Scroll/Prayer Lock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bible Widget ships an update every 2 days, Abbey Bible Scroll/Prayer Lock every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
